This type of machine has many advantages and if you are willing to pay the price, you will be satisfied with its performance. Here are a few things to know before you start:

• ‍The price

First of all, you must know the price range of the machine of your choice before starting your research in order not to be swindled, which is very frequent in the construction sector.
For a new 2T5 mini excavator, prices can quickly climb! You will have to count from 25 000€ and up to 35 000€ for a high quality machine. Depending on the performance you are looking for in a mini excavator, the price can quickly increase. If you plan to use your mini excavator regularly and over a long period of time, you will be able to amortize its cost over the years and thus afford to invest in a premium brand.

If, however, you don't plan to use it as frequently, it might be a better idea to opt for a second hand 2t5 mini excavator. A machine of this weight is normally transportable on a trailer with a GVW of 3,500kg.

If, however, for reasons of price, transport or performance too high for what you plan to do, you want to reduce the model of your choice, you can go for 1T800 or 2T models. You can buy new ones for 15,000€ less with, for example, the RHINOCEROS XN-20 mini-excavator which is available from 17,400€ HT. It will be less powerful but just as malleable and more transportable thanks to a pair of loading ramps!
